A Dutch 17th century squeeze sided brass tobacco box of nice patina and with unusually fine engraved decoration of amorini and birds within a border of scrolling foliage. Scenes from the Bible to top and bottom: Salome presented with the head of John the Baptist and the abduction of Dinah.
