A mid 18th century bombe tea caddy of flame mahogany veneer with barbers pole stringing. Opens to reveal three canisters, unusually with sliding caddy tops. The underside of the lid is inlaid with barbers pole stringing in the Chinese Chippendale manner. With key, original lock, lock pin and hinges. Minor losses to stringing.
