An early 18th century walnut stool on cabriole legs. The carved shells to the knees are particularly strong with carved bell-flowers below. Delicate turned stretchers and pad feet. George II circa 1730. The drop in seat has been recently covered in hessian and is ready to be upholstered. Would look wonderful in an early interior.
