A rare Regency tooled leather covered work box of sarcophagus form by ‘Marshall late Doughty, Coney Street, York’. Circa 1810. In a remarkable state of preservation. Bearing its original maker’s label. The interior and the drawer are fitted and the silk lining is in very good condition. Raised on original gilt bronze lions paw feet.
